This weekend, (30th sept) in between rain and wind, we started tidying up some of the garden.
This bed was getting well and truly overcrowded, the Aloe Vera was getting swallowed by all the succulents, so we set about taking everything out and starting again (see post here for how it looked when first done).
We replanted the Aloe Vera in a large pot out at the front.
We sank the pot into the earth, I didn't want to put the cactus in the ground as it is not a very deep bed and we didn't fancy having to uproot it again in as couple of years time.
We took measurements, this is the tallest one.
The Aloe Vera we planted in here was taken from a tall pot at the front, it was getting really big for the pot and the roots were all the way down to the bottom, Scott had to break the pot in order to get it out in one piece.
We repotted this one in a larger pot.
This one was repotted at the front.
We will be revamping this corner shortly.
Our ornamental flamingo garden was also looking worse for the wear, Scott took some of the pots off before I got a chance to take a photo!. (See here how it originally looked here).
The pots, stands and gravel were all originally pink, but over time they all faded, so it was time to pink them up again.
