We woke up at Monument Valley at 6.45 am, in time for the sunrise. We had a beautiful stray visitor just basking in the early morning sun outside our cabin. We checked out at 10 am and started the 4 hour 40 minute drive to St George, Utah. We had 1/2 tank of full and was going to fill up in Kayenta but the filling station was on the opposite side of the road so we decided to carry on to the next one. We travelled for over an hour and the low fuel light came on, so we were getting a little anxious. We finally came across a shell garage at Shonto Arizona and filled up. Then we continuned on our way to Paige, Az. I spotted a gift shop that sold jerky, Darren is a huge fan of any kind of jerky, so when I saw they sold alligator, I just had to go in and get some for him.
