Daisy Chains and Picnics

We didn't do anything special for Father's day, we are busy doing things around the house. I made Scott bacon and eggs for breakfast, which was a real treat for him, I haven't made a cooked Sunday breakfast in months! 😂. The kids were all here for a little while, (excuse the mess, I was in the middle of baking and getting our tea organised so every inch of the benchtop was covered!) I made slow cooked lamb forequarter chops and roast chicken. I also baked some cupcakes. We watched Terrifier in the evening.

  Sunday 16th August was my 58th birthday. I got some lovely gifts. Cerys painted a beautiful picture of Hamish on a magnet. Scott and I watched The Purge on Saturday evening. I made slow cooked lamb shanks for my birthday tea. We watched Run on Sunday evening. Darren's 35th birthday was on 10th August, he went out for a meal and drinks with friends. That's 3 birthdays down, 2 to go.

Mother's day was quite. Scott and I were in the garden, Cerys and Blake came round a bit later on. I got some lovely gifts. I made slow cooked lamb shanks with red wine gravy.

Cerys and Blake made our Easter Sunday tea, they put on quite a spread and boy was there a lot of dishes and cleaning up to do!! They did a fantastic job, everything was delicious. I made a pie for next days tea using the leftovers.
