Daisy Chains and Picnics

I've had these small mirrored sunburst wall hooks for ages now and didn't know where to put them. There was a space on the wall in the kitchen beside the pictures that needed filling but as it is close to the corner coming from the hallway, I didn't want to put anything bulky incase it got knocked off with people passing to get into the kitchen, so decided to add them there, but I didn't want to use them as hanging hooks, so Scott cut the hook part off and we put them onto that space, it just adds a bit of extra sparkle to what was an empty space.

I saw this knick knack shelf in TK Maxx a few weeks ago and fell in love with it, but had no idea where I would put it so I didn't buy it. I went back in last week and low and behold, it was in the reduced section, so that made up my mind to buy it and find a spot for it. I decided to put it on the same wall as Hamish, my Heilan Coo. Hamish would have to go a bit higher on the wall above the shelf. Now I have a place to display some of my trinkets that were lying around the house.

We had some beautiful dramatic skies this week.
