We have finally bit the bullet and got a new fridge freezer. The one we have is still the same one we bought when we moved here so it will be 16 years this year!, and it has done us so well, I was hard pushed to replace it but I didn't want it to give up completely and then have to order a new one, which could take anything from 3 days to 3 weeks to arrive, which would result in more expense due to the spoiling of the food and dairy products that the fridge freezer contains. Plus, with 5 adults living under the one roof, the fridge was a bit too small, I wanted more space. The handle has been broken and tied up for at least 11 years, (Cerys used to swing on it!, that girl would swing on anything!!), and the door seal has also been split for a few years now, but knowing the huge expense it was going to cost, we held out for as long as possible, but knew the time was nearing.
