On our first trip to Las Vegas we didn't hire a car which was fine as we had only set our sights on doing the strip so didn't feel the need for a car but with our second trip to Vegas looming we decided that we would hire a car and visit more of the things outside of Vegas.
One of these places was Eldorado Canyon Mine. Located just 45 minutes from the strip, Eldorado Mine tours is based in Eldorado Canyon at the historical Techatticup Mine, the oldest, richest and most famous gold mine in Southern Nevada. We didn't actually do the tour as the girls found it very hot but I enjoyed exploring the grounds of the ghost town taking photo's of the amazing restored historical artifacts.
There's something very mysterious and intriguing about ghost towns.
