I LOVE Palm Springs, seriously what is there not to love, the dessert feel, the climate, the palm trees and cacti, the houses with their colourful doors, the brightly coloured hotels, the gorgeous shops, it is all just so pretty, stylish and happy looking.
Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains, it is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The streets are lined with beautiful palm trees, the town is filled with boutique shops, art galleries, museums, restaurants and cafe's.
While here, Scott and I went on the hunt for the brightly coloured doors that are famous in Palm Springs and subject to their own tours. Above and below is the Pinterest and Instagram favourite "That pink door", which even has its own hashtag #thatpinkdoor.
That handle 😍
3 doors down from that pink door was the house with the Party Lions!. The owners of these 2 beauties enjoy decking them out in a number of matching pool inflatables, I am not sure how often they change the inflatables but we happened to get the day of the glitzy gold rings, which I was happy about, anything glitzy, gold and shimmering makes me happy!, although I have seen photos of these guys fashioning a couple of Pink champagne floats which I would have been equally in love with 💗
We first visited Palm Springs in 2017 just for the day here and when we decided to go back to California again I wanted to spend a bit longer to enjoy and soak up the whole Palm Springs atmosphere.

The Walk of Stars is a walk of fame in downtown Palm Springs honouring various celebrities who have lived in Palm Springs.
The kids got an ice cream from Ice Cream & Shoppe, a combination ice cream parlour and gift shop located at the Arrive Hotel in N. Palm Canyon Dr.
To my delight, we happened to be in Palm Springs on mother's day, see full post here
Hopefully we can go back again at some stage.
