Around Here Lately....Weekend

We bought a new dining table handcrafted from re-purposed timber once belonging to old Indian homes and buildings. It has a gorgeous colourful distressed paint finish with hand carved detail. On Saturday afternoon, Scott and I went to Sawak in Hobart for lunch, it was delicious. In the afternoon, Hannah came to collect Darren with a tiny visitor she is currently caring for... ..a 3 month old orphaned possum. He is absolutely gorgeous.

Palm Springs 2018. Day 1 & 2

DAY 1 & 2 Our journey to Palm Springs 2018 began on the 11th of May. We packed everything into our big car and left the Stratosphere, Las Vegas, at around 10:30am. Take Me To Palm Springs...And Leave Me There!!

I LOVE Palm Springs, seriously what is there not to love, the dessert feel, the climate, the palm trees and cacti,  the houses with their colourful doors,  the brightly coloured hotels, the gorgeous shops,  it is all just so pretty, stylish and happy looking. Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains, it is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The streets are lined with beautiful palm trees, the town is filled with boutique shops, art galleries, museums, restaurants and cafe's. Driving to Palm Springs. While here, Scott and I went on the hunt for the brightly coloured doors that are famous in Palm Springs and subject to their own tours. Above and below is the Pinterest and Instagram favourite "That pink door", which even has its own hashtag #thatpinkdoor. (above photograph sourced from google) That handle 😍 3 doors down from that pink door was the house with the Party Lions!. The owners of these 2 beauties en...
