We have all been down with the flu this past week, it has been very draining and taken a lot out of us, so once I started to feel better I made this soup in the hope to build up our immune systems again.
Ingredients
2 litre chicken stock
2 cups shredded cooked chicken
2 carrots, finely chopped
2 sticks celery, finely chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 Tsp turmeric powder
1 Tbsp finely grated ginger
1 Tsp garlic powder
1/4 Tsp ceyenne pepper
generous pinch sea salt
coconut oil
Method
1. Heat coconut oil in a pan over a medium heat. Add carrots, onion and celery, cook until softened.
