This is the type of easy to spread butter you get at cafes and restaurants. I find this particularly handy during the winter months when the butter stays rock solid and is so difficult to spread, the bread or toast always ends up torn or with clumps of butter instead of evenly covered.
This is so simple and easy to make, you end up with a soft creamy butter that stretches further.
Ingredients
250 g butter, room temperature
3 Tbsp milk
Method
1. Make sure butter is at room temperature, this makes mixing easier.
2. Place butter and milk in a mixing bowl and start whipping at the light mix setting or low for 2 minutes.
3. Turn mixer up to high speed and continue whipping for 3-4 minutes until butter is whipped and creamy.
