Seriously, I can't believe it is the last day of September already!, that's the first month of spring come to an end!. Cerys and I went to Kmart, big mistake!, they have some Christmas stuff in stock. I ended up coming away with..... I got the middle one. 1st October tomorrow! 🎃🎃

Hamish Outside

  Hamish loves to sit outside on his bed when the sun is out, breathing in the fresh air. Now that he is 16, he is blind and can't hear very well, but he still knows his way around, as long as there are no obstacles in his way.

Hamish's Vet Visit

  27th September 2024, Hamish had a vet appointment, I just wanted to get him checked out as he has recently turned 16 years old. The vet was pretty pleased with how he is going considering his age, she said that not much dogs get to the ripe old age of 16!, she checked  him over, she said that his knee cap was completely out of it's socket now and didn't want to play around with it to make him uncomfortable, he also has arthritis, which we knew about and he is on medication for that, she asked if we wanted blood tests done, we said yes. We waited for the results at the vets as they do it in house, she said that overall he was doing really well, just the obvious ailments for senior dogs, he doesn't have diabetes which was one of her concerns, the thing that got her concerned was one of the indicators was really high, so high the computer couldn't read it, which is something to do with his liver function, he has high ALT and off the scale ALKP, which are his liver levels...
