Seating Area Remodel....Part One

Our seating area was starting to look untidy. For some reason, the wooden sleepers that surround the seating had warped making it look uneven and messy, the cushions on the couch had lost their colour making them a horrible shade of green instead of the original colour of grey. After much deliberation as to what to do to tidy it up ( I spent time looking up ideas online) we decided on a concrete bench made with blocks, rendered and painted white for easy keeping, it will also gives us more space. We decided to revamp the whole area as it has always been bitsy, not an even flow, it doesn't help that our back garden was on a slope to start with, hence the reason for the stepped decking. We had already planned to replace the deck as it was old, weak and splitting and in some places getting to the point of quite dangerous.
