Keeping Cool

It is a glorious 29 degree afternoon so I dug out my slushie maker and made us all a pink lemonade slushie.

Valentine's Day 2017

Happy Valentine's Day! We spent Valentine's day at home, I made scallops for our starter, T-bone steak with tempura mushrooms for our main and strawberries, shortbread and cream for dessert. We went out for a drink and soaked up the atmosphere.

Palm Springs, California

During our recent trip to Los Angeles we decided to drive to Palm Springs, a city in the Sonoran Desert of southern California, it is a beautiful city full of vintage boutiques, interior design shops and gorgeous architecture.   The drive to Palm Springs We pre booked tickets for the Palm Springs Ariel Tramway, which is the world's largest rotating tram car, it travels over two-and-one-half miles along the breathtaking cliffs of Chino Canyon with amazing views for miles. It was a beautiful clear day with snow on the cliffs. Once we reached the Mountain Station-elevation 8,516 feet, there are two restaurants, observation decks, natural history museum and gift shop.
