Scott and I decided to take a day trip locating a beautiful secluded beach so we could enjoy a quiet BBQ on the beach, we stumbled across Okehampton Bay, the views were magical, the ocean was turquoise blue and the only sign of life were seagulls, so that was the perfect spot. Scott set up our folding barbecue, collected some drift wood and set about lighting the fire, we made sure that we were not beside any vegetation for fire hazard reasons, and we had plenty of water at hand, while he was busy setting up I strolled along the beach looking for pretty shells and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. When thee BBQ was hot enough we started cooking our delicious seafood, we had salmon and scallops along with red capsicum, spinach and tomatoes, the end result was amazing, the smoke from the drift wood gave such a great flavour to the fish, we sat down on the sand and washed down our freshly cooked lunch with a delicious glass of Tasmanian white wine.
