Cacti Garden Beds Update

 

I wanted to add a bit of brightness to the cacti garden at the poolside, I thought maybe some white landscaping stones along the edge to nestle the plant pots into, Scott was a bit skeptical as he thought it might look crowded but anyway on 2nd August 2021 we headed to Bunnings to see if we could find anything suitable.

I liked the look of these stones, so we bought a couple of bags to see if they were going to look as I had envisaged. They turned out to be perfect.

This was the area we planned to put them.

I wanted the single pots and the palm trees to blend in and not stand out.

We started laying them out.

We marked a line with silicone where we wanted the stones to finish and spread them out so the front row stuck to the silicone.

We also plan to freshen up the decking by giving it a coat of paint as it is starting to look tired and messy.
