It was pouring rain all day so we couldn't get anything done outside, we decided to start on the inside of the windows.

We started painting the cream frames white, we also bought white roller blinds to replace the cream vertical blinds that have been there since we bought the house, I think the previous owners had a thing for cream! 😖😂 

First coat of white going on, it will need at least a couple more coats to get rid of the paint streaks.

We are also replacing the vertical blinds downstairs with a night & day roller blind that gives privacy through the day.

We also bought some tinted window film, we already have this on the upstairs window but not the downstairs so that will be going on there to match the rest of the windows.

We put the window film on the downstairs window.

It certainly makes a difference looking in from the outside, gives us a lot more privacy and then we will also have the blind. The main reason for us wanting this room to be more private is that we will be moving the front door from the side to the front which when anyone is at the door they would be able to look directly into this room.

We also managed to get the roller blind up.

Monday, I managed to get an urn from the op shop for $3 which I plan to spray with water sealant so I can put it outside with a cactus in it.
