Easter Weekend 2019

We didn't do anything special this Easter. Jodie had the long weekend off work so she wanted to dye her hair, she wanted it purple so I bought a L'Oreal hair dye in deep purple pearl. It turned out really well, she loved it.

On Saturday, Scott and I went for a drive to Geeveston, stopping off at Franklin on the way.

The Palais theatre was open selling some local produce. The Palais is a beautiful theatre and has been a symbol of the social heart and tradition of the Huon region since 1912.

We then held on to Geeveston where we had a delicious lunch at Geeveston One Stop. We both had fish and chips.

We then had a walk around the town centre browsing the various shops before driving through a small area where the devastating bush fires that raged for weeks during the summer destroying houses, forests and wildlife.

On Easter Sunday we had hot cross buns for breakfast and slow cook pork cooked on the barbecue.

All in all it was quite a quiet Easter.
