It is the norm on Sunday's for Cerys to make the Yorkshire puddings. She usually uses my go to recipe here which she now knows off by heart and they are a success every time.
The Reject Shop recently started selling some Tesco grocery items which I am delighted about, a touch of home right here, what's not to be delighted about!!.
I came across a packet of Tesco Yorkshire pudding batter mix for $2 and thought Cerys would enjoy trying them, so that she did this Sunday.
All you had to add was 1 egg and 200ml water, the batter makes 12 small puddings or 6 large ones.
The oven is preheated to 200°C, I normally heat the oven to 230°C so it will be interesting how they turn out at a lesser temperature.
They didn't rise as big as the homemade ones but they were tasty all the same, they are perfect for when you haven't the time to make them from scratch.
Cook for 20-30 minutes until well risen and golden.
